• Wildlife across the whole world: deer, elk, wild horses, rabbits, foxes, boar, wolves, bears, mountain goats, lions, snakes, lizards, giant spiders and snapping turtles, each living where it belongs: forest, plains, mountains, snow, desert, badlands and marsh.
• The country round Midgaard is gentle (rabbits, deer, goats, foxes, boar); nothing attacks you there. Further out the animals get bigger and fiercer: dire wolves, cave bears, giant serpents and monstrous spiders.
